    I don't think that word means what you think it means. Since "Wikipedia is a bad source", how about the dictionary? http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/agnostic. The most commonly understood definition: "asserting the uncertainty of all claims to knowledge." I see this stupid argument against agnostic as separate from atheism all the time, and it just indicates that you're an idiot. No, it's not in between belief and non-belief. It's simply admitting that you don't know and can't possibly know.

      so one believes one thing, the other believes an opposite thing, how is the one who does not know not in between those two?

    The words may rhyme but the gnostic-agnostic diad makes no sense. .

    Atheist incorrect too unless it means "not concerned with this topic"

      i think atheist is used exactly correctly. Theists believe in the existence of a god or gods. atheists do not.
