You all are retards. Why debate it on a webpage, no one will ever read, expect you now haha. There is either God or not. No one give's a cr*p about your opinion, so stfu and go on with life as you see fit. You either go heaven/ hell or "die" and nothing happens. End of story. Good day.

"If God is omnipotent and omnibenevolent, why is there evil?"

"Evil exists because we have free will."- CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

"Is there evil in heaven?" "Of course there is no evil in heaven."

"Is there free will in heaven?" "Yes there is free will in heaven, we know this because when the devil rebelled against God he took 1/3 of the angels with him. So there has to be free will."

"Then there has to be evil in heaven, right?" "Nope, when we die and stand before judgement and go to heaven God makes us into new, perfected beings, therefore we don't have the same temptations and tendencies to defy God as normal humans do."... Christians aren't all stupid people who don't question what they are told.

If Yahweh can create us without such temptations, what the hell is he waiting for? Do it now to all humans and avoid all the pain and suffering that exists in the world.

What if free will still exists in heaven, but we have no desire to do evil. Temptation is not necessary for free wills existence. Just like I have the free will to go throw an empty can into the hallway, the action is irrelevant. Without the temptation of evil in heaven, free will may still exist but is no longer much of a concern.

God gives us free will because he wishes for us to prove ourselves as loyal servants. It would mean nothing if there were no struggle or choice.

Sounds like a real loving guy. He basically made us slaves, we are *required* to love him.

      Screw that.

There is free will in heaven but those in heaven are those who have proved themselves to be responsible with free will, hence no evil.

God is a spoiled child who gives you free will but will make you burn in hell if you do not think as he wants you to think. Your god is like Hitler but without all that Jew stuff.

no thats not true, nor is it what a normal believer would say.

would say this, do you give your child what he needs...or do you let him make the choice? if its the wrong choice is there consequences for his action from you, in other words if i steal from mom i get in trouble the same as if i didnt believe i wouldnt go to heaven. you just want to make it hard but it really isnt. and if you dont want to believe its cool with me id still shoot the shit with ya and have a beer

And presumably the point of the consequence is to teach the child a lesson. Sending someone to burn in hell for eternity does not teach anyone anything.

Doesn't this just mean that those who get to heaven are the ones whose free will don't do evil? Only logical way this makes sense to me; either that or in heaven there is no free will.

Or the third option there is no heaven. Or the fourth option, that we have no free will. Whatever, comic is funny.

This is a logical fallacy. Evil exists due to free will; this does not imply that evil WILL exist WHEREVER there is free will.

But it does imply that evil CAN exist WHEREVER there is free will. So, if there is free will in heaven then there can also be evil in heaven? ;)

no because the people who are let into heaven would not use the free will that they have in heaven to do evil

What an immense pile of male bovine excrement. If some want to believe in a god, let them, as long as they allow those that don't alone. How anyone could possibly read the Christian Bible, the Jewish Torah, and the Islam Koran, and still believe is totally beyond me.

If somebody believes that I'll spend eternity in hell if I don't believe in such-and-such, and eternity in heaven if I did, I would hope that they would try to convince me as hard and well as they can.

The Lord never meant for evil to exist. It was simply the opposite of good, and since it takes a free will for evil to come into existence, Lucifer was the first created being to exercise his will against God. Since that time, others have followed. Satan caused a third of heaven to fall with him by influencing other angelic beings to make war against God (Revelation 12:4a). They too were cast out of heaven. They have since become evil spirits due to their choice. They now roam the earth, with Satan as their leader and master.

More theist nonsense. Do you have any idea at all how ridiculous this sounds? YOu quote the babble that is a badly-translated collection of myths and lies. Then engage in a total lack of reasoning and give not one shred of proof of anything. But then, that's how religions exist, isn't it? Bullshit, deception and evasion.

Omnipotent means you know everything. If god did exist, he wouldn't be omnipotent in any meaning of the word. How could he not see that people were betraying him? If he knew everything, why didn't he stop it?

As he gave us free will, he also has/used it by not getting rid of evil.
